Head through the scenic Grampian Mountains to Blair Atholl. Here visit 13th century Blair Castle, home of the Earls and Dukes of Atholl. This stately mansion contains a variety of portraits, china and armor to show the life of Scottish nobility. Take a guided tour around the stronghold of Stirling Castle, captured by William "Braveheart" Wallace from the English in 1297 and royal residence where Mary, Queen of Scots, spent some years. Continue to Edinburgh for a Scottish cabaret where you dine on local specialties, including haggis, and enjoy traditional bagpipe music and storytelling. (B, D)

Day 5 - Tue: Edinburgh Sightseeing

Just outside Cork visit Blarney Castle where you have an opportunity to acquire the gift of eloquence by kissing the famous stone. Continue towards the mountainous country of Kerry and into Killarney. After dinner, perhaps explore one of Killarney's famous singing pubs. (B, D)

Day 8 - Fri: Ring of Kerry Tour
Dress comfortably for a jaunting car tour which will transport you along the shores of Muckross Lake for a guided tour of the 19th century Muckross House. Then embark on Ireland's most popular scenic drive, the Ring of Kerry, by skirting Ireland's highest mountains, the Macgillycuddy's Reeks.
